Dear All,

Wow what a wonderful weekend we have had, the atmosphere was fantastic and the support from everyone unbelievable. Thank you thank you thank you.

In the 3 years I have been involved…this is the first year we really have had true support from the ladies club. Many have volunteered for which I am very thankful for. 

A special thanks to Jason, Mark, Karen and Anita, who are the festival committee 2010 and start preparing already well in advance of the event. A very special thank you to Jason who puts an enormous amount of work in himself and of course Lis who has to put up with everything that comes along with that. A few other important “thank you’s” too. 

• The sports club, maintenance staff, grounds man and bar staff, who have done a fabulous job
• Caroline and hubby for assisting with the cleaning
• Panda security who were polite and professional in their approach especially under some difficult circumstances. Panda have also sponsored the Trophies this year, arranged for the fencing and assisted people on and off site.
• A special thanks to Patrick Wilkes for his assistance in all things electrical and technical J
• Chubbies the food man
• The Stick Club
• Our on site photographer who took some marvellous photos
• Promedicus – who dealt with about 25 minor incidents this weekend
• The fabulous Band from Woburn Sands
• All our fabulous teams who made it a real fun weekend
• Our umpires, Lynn Turnbull and Andy, Lisa Morgan, Roger Dobson, Nigel Skelton, Tom Johnson, James Cox, Ian Knox and Dave Monger.

   Last but not least a special thanks to the volunteers who supported in particular 

• Tim Dawson our guest speaker … you were amazing on Saturday ( Parent Zoe Dawson)
• Jane and Justin Jones …who assisted in clearing up the site on Saturday ( Parents Ben Jones)
• Ben Jones and Charlotte Cox … for collecting scores
• Vanessa Cox …. Assisting with food for umpires and general items
• The girls in particular, Lady Smythe, Jo Hayward, Gibbo, Mally, Kate Cash Jenkins and Louise (who were bound together by a plastic tube) - for collecting raffle monies
• The boys in particular, Chris and Grant where Grant asked for “a pound a strip” and in return had to “strip for a pound” J
• The CAMPION COWS and Brummie Mincers who were amazing in support in every aspect, clearing the site afterwards in particular
• Lady Smythe who was amazing as usual, in her usual support and providing copious amounts of coffee
• Babs our volunteer officer for rounding up the support
• Gemma Meridith for supporting Sunday morning despite a massive hangover…(Gibbo for almost getting me intoxicated on your fumes)
• Last but not least Doug Spencer for managing and supporting with the difficult task of dealing with unruly hooligans.

As Mark has said, it is impossible to remember everyone but this year has been wonderful. The ease at which it all went, was down to the fact that people were involved and pledged their support.

From me, thank you again to everyone for a very enjoyable and successful event. It is much appreciated.
